Here are listed various supplementory material and information, dealing with issues that are not necessarily restricted to single technologies or biomass types.

• 01-09-2013: MTT Agrifood Research Finland has released a new report on the possibilities to reduce environmental risks associated with acid sulphate soils, such as raised sea bottom.
  The report describes a.o. sub-soil watering through conventional drainage pipes equipped with regulation wells. The report (in Swedish language) is available from here.
• December 2012: Livestock Manure to Energy - Status, Technologies and Innovation in Denmark Increasing focus on resource economy in food production on the one side, and reduction of emissions on the other side, has caused an increased focus on livestock manure processing. • 12-12-2012: German report about agro-environmental measures and their environmental effects and costs

  Kiel University has published a catalogue of agro-environmental measures. Estimated environmental effects and costs are based on different models and literature. The catalogue in German and in English as well as relevant links and tools is available from here in German and here in English.

• June 2012: Report on "Assessments of Biogas Projects in Belarus". The report provide an overall assessment of selected biogas plants in relation to the Belarusian context. It was the objective to highlight possible problems on the individual plants and provide overall recommendations for possible changes to be further analyzed as well to be taken into consideration for the future development of biogas in Belarus. • June 2012: Report on "Assessment of biogas situation in Belarus Republic". The report is drawn up by Ms Ekaterina Kuzina, Kiel University, as an important part of her master thesis in her studies about environmental planning.
• February 2012: "Vecauce Biogas Plant in Latvia - Improvement and enlargement". This Feasibility Study assesses envisaged and possible improvements and ways of expansion of the biogas plant at Vecauce. Download.
